Raw Food Diets Make You Feel Amazing

By Alex Weidmann

Raw food diet is the best way to give your body the nutrition it needs. And it is one of the easiest way to remove fat from the diet. Also very useful for body building as it gives strength to many who can lift the weight easily. The easiest way to cook food is fruit and vegetable juices, a mixture of food ingredients, soaking nuts and dried fruit, dehydration of organic food and natural outbreaks of grains, seeds and beans.

A raw diet is no longer an underground trend. A raw diet is a type of diet plan that includes, literally, a consumer of oil, without fruit, vegetables, sprouts, seaweed, nuts and juices. The cooking and processing removes much needed vitamins, enzymes and nutrients our body needs for a healthy life. The underlying theory is that raw foods contain more nutrients and a source of cooking reduces the amount of nutrients found in foods.

While proponents of raw food diet are firmly convinced that this diet will help your immune system work against the development of diseases, but also agreed that raw food diet is not for everyone. Children have very different needs to adults, so raw food diet is different for them, like a diet of cooked foods. A Fruitarian diet of raw foods is not a whim, a fantasy or an extreme ideal. The CEO of crude Life Line, a raw diet is essential to their welfare. The basic premise of a raw food diet is obvious: food is not cooked.

One very obvious improvement resulting from a raw diet is in the digestive system. The raw food diet is one of the first things that come to mind when someone hears or sees the word diet. Raw food diet is one that is well known among several who are interested in changing your lifestyle to eat different types of enzymes. A raw diet is beneficial for your health, for many reasons, because raw food is easier to digest cooked or processed foods and raw food is almost entirely used by the body.

Most historians, however, will agree that the raw food diet is a new trend. Raw food diet is based mainly on unprocessed, preferably organic plant foods such as uncooked fruits and vegetables, sprouts, seeds, nuts, grains, beans and seaweed. The fundamental premise of the raw diet is 75 per cent eat uncooked food, such as the cooking process destroys the enzymes that help us with our digestion. If the raw food diet is the healthiest and most perfect diet.

raw food diet is one that is composed of water, uncooked, unprocessed and often organic foods. And it is healthy and colorful. And it extends not only to the nation, but around the world including countries like Germany, Italy and even England. First, this diet is not something new in the world of humans. Therefore, diet is basically the food they consume a fuel for the body throughout the day and night. Why say that diet is the biggest secret in the world today.

A raw food diet is also recommended to purify the body of toxins. The raw diet is based on the principle that cooking destroys much of its nutritional value and eating fresh grapes is the best fruit and vegetables is the healthiest way to eat.

The idea behind a raw food diet is back to the basics of eating humans are the only creatures on earth who cook their food before eating, and in the past, humans have lived completely out of raw foods. The wonderful thing about eating a raw diet is that it can be as simple and still be varied.

Recycling Tips: 6 Great Uses for those Egg Cartons

By Bruce Tucker

I love eggs for breakfast, as do many people. However eggs also produce waste that eventually could end up in a landfill. For starters make sure you compost those egg shells. Dig a hole and bury them (with other food scraps). Worms will love you for it by producing nutrient rich castings.

Thats the easy part, but what about that darn egg carton. If your egg cartons are made of cardboard type of material then can simply put them in your recycle container for cardboard. If they are made from Styrofoam then you need to other solutions. I have listed a few below.

Seed starter

You can also use the cardboard style for this as well. Put some potting soil in each cup, then place one to two seeds in the potting soil, cover the seeds with some of the potting soil. After the seed have sprouted, push up on the bottom of the cup to remove it and transplant it either outside or to another, bigger pot. If you were using the cardboard variety you can cut out the cup from the carton and transplant the plant and cup to your new area.

Easter egg storage

Do you have those plastic Easter eggs for decoration or Easter egg hunts? Instead of storing them in a plastic bag, use your egg cartons instead.

Paint Palette for kids

Do your kids like to paint? Then put a little paint (environmentally safe paint) in each cup so you can regulate how much of each color each child gets. This way they do not go through too much of one color by constantly squeezing the tube or pouring from the bottle.

Use a Jelly Mold

Heres a neat little trick someone told me recently. For their childrens 1st grade class parties she fills each cup with jello and puts it aside until it is finished congealing. Then the kids can pop them out and have small jello snacks.

Ice Cube Tray

Dont try this with cardboard variety as they will leak, but with the Styrofoam variety fill the cups up with water and put in your freezer. When frozen you have some really neat ice cubes for your next outdoor barbecue.

Packing Material

Instead of using Styrofoam packing peanuts or bubble wrap, use your Styrofoam to secure objects during shipping so they do not break. If you are shipping large packages then you will need a bunch of them, but that is ok, you have been saving them before you throw them out since there is not hurry to have them end up in your local landfill just yet.

These are just a few that I have gone into detail with as far as what you can do to use and reuse those egg cartons before you end up throwing them away. I always recommend however if at all possible buy your eggs that come in the cardboard variety egg cartons. These cartons are more readily biodegradable and have many more valuable uses then their Styrofoam counterparts, such as turning them into fire starters.

How To Read Your Blood Pressure Numbers

By Jeremiah Slivka

Are you concerned about your blood pressure? If so, you can easily start monitoring it in your own time in your own home. You still want to have it checked regularly by your doctor. The best way to monitor your blood pressure is by understanding the numbers first.

There is a top and bottom number for your blood pressure reading. The top number is your systolic pressure. Systolic pressure is the force of blood in your arteries as your heart is beating.

The bottom number is your diastolic pressure. Diastolic pressure is the force of blood in your arteries as your heart relaxes between each beat.

There are four different categories your blood pressure reading can fall under. The first is a normal blood pressure reading. Normal blood pressure is when your systolic pressure is below 120 and your diastolic pressure is below 80. This would read 120/80. You can keep this blood pressure number by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The second category is ‘prehypertension.’ This is where your systolic pressure reads 120-139. Your diastolic pressure would be between 80 and 89. This would read as 121/81 or 139/89. If you have prehypertension just maintain a healthy lifestyle to keep your blood pressure from increasing.

The third category is called Stage 1 hypertension. This is where your systolic pressure is between 140 and 159 and your diastolic pressure is between 90 and 99. If you have a reading like this try to adopt a healthier lifestyle. If you cannot lower your blood pressure on your own talk with your doctor about medication.

The fourth category is called Stage 2 hypertension. This is where your systolic pressure is 160 or higher and your diastolic pressure is 100 or higher. If you have this high of blood pressure consider adapting a healthier lifestyle and talk with your doctor about taking medication to help lower it.

While you can easily watch your diet and weight and get plenty of exercise to help maintain or lower your blood pressure, that may not be enough. Blood pressure medication might be prescribed by your doctor and you might even have to take two.

If this happens be sure you tell your doctor of any other medication you might be taking. Some medications including antidepressants, cold medicines, nasal decongestants and even oral contraceptives can raise your blood pressure.

Like usual, talk with your doctor about any concerns you might have and if you have any questions about your blood pressure. There are many available ways to treat high blood pressure and you want to be sure to find the right option best suited for you.

By taking control of your blood pressure you can take control of your health and have a longer healthier life. If you smoke, try to quit, try to limit your alcohol consumption and eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

If you have a dog, take a walk with them everyday. Get yourself at least thirty minutes of physical activity. You will be thankful you did when you realize how much better you feel.

Using Molds To Make Chocolates

By Julie Spear

In the late 1800’s, chocolate makers already used molds made from metal. This made it possible to shape them either as flat or three dimensional. Plastic soon replaced that as these were expensive to produce making it possible for amateur chocolatiers to make these at home.

When you buy chocolate molds from the craft store, make sure that this is made from strong plastic that has intricate designs so the finished product will come out beautifully after it comes out of the freezer.

Remember that this must never be washed using soap as this can mare the taste of the chocolate. You should simply use hot water and then dry it thoroughly using a dry cloth.

Each time you use the plastic mold, make sure to wipe it clean. Greasing, spraying or dusting is not needed as this will ruin the appearance of the finished candy.

But there is an exception to that rule. If you will be mixing your chocolate with some marshmallows, candy sprinkles, jellies or cooked candies, then you must first grease or spray the chocolate mold with oiling spray. This will make the chocolate easy to remove from the mold and if you are going to make another batch, the good news is that you only have to oil spray it once.

Next thing you need to learn is how to properly put chocolate filling into the plastic sheet. For that, you use a regular teaspoon and fill each cavity with chocolate. Some of the chocolate might spill out but don’t worry because you can clean that up later on.

There may be some air bubbles trapped within the chocolate. To release it, tap the filled mold on the counter to settle the chocolate. Another way is to hold the mold horizontally then gently drop it on the counter. You will probably have to do this several times until there all the air bubbles have been removed.

When the chocolate is ready, this is the time that you put this in the freezer. This is because it is the coolest place in the house taking it less time for the chocolate to harden so you can reuse the mold if you are making another batch of chocolates.

You will know when the chocolates are ready by looking at the back side of the mold. If the cavity appears to be graying, this means that the second you turn this over, the chocolate will easily fall off to the tray.

If it doesn’t fall off on its own, you can tap it firmly. If this does not work, perhaps it needs a little more cooling time in the freezer so put it back in for a few minutes and then try again.

If you happen to have some leftovers from filling the mold, don’t throw it away because you can use it again in the future. Just wait for the chocolate to harden so you can scrape it off and then wrap it in waxed paper.

You don’t always need to make chocolate creations from molds even if this is the conventional way of doing it. The other option is to dip it in with other things like cookies or fruits so you have your own chocolate fondue as part of your dessert.
